QUALIFICATIONS:

Pat has been a member of the Technical staff of the Aurora Youth Soccer Club for 15 years. He has been instrumental in designing and delivering the training for Recreational League coaches for the past 10 years. Coach training is conducted pre-season and in-service, and consists of six two-hour sessions held over the course of six weeks.  

In addition to his coach training responsibilities, Pat provides ongoing technical support every night of the Recreational League from May through August. Training is provided to a different team every night.

The U4 program has been running for 10 years. On average, 120 players per year participate in the program. The program allows children to begin a relationship with soccer in a child-centred learning environment.

Pat has a Bachelor of Education Degree. His teaching career spans 27 years; 4 in elementary panel and 23 in high school. He is currently employed by the York District Catholic School Board at Cardinal Carter High School where he teaches Religion.
