Coach Development

With the implementation of the Canada Soccer Pathway, which is built around the principles of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD), there are several resources for coaches to learn and understand the player and game development in Canada. The Aurora Youth Soccer Club encourages all coaches to be active participants in the coaching community through certification, coaching clinics, online resources and conferences.

Each year, all Rep coaches in Ontario must complete their minimum Coach Certification Requirements for their specific age group. All Rep coaches also need to complete Respect in Sport.

AYSC Coaching Development Clinics/Workshops

The AYSC is proud of our involvement in the development of coaches, players and mentors. The club puts a lot of time into the proper growth of our team, to ensure the future and the success of the club.

We have many Development and Mentoring programs in place to help our members and partners grow as athlete mentors and coaches.
