AYSC AND THE UGANDA SHIRT DRIVE
Thank you very very much for participating in our shirt drive for Uganda. Thank you to the captains who reminded their teams about the collection and a special thank you to Karen for including it in her season end email. Your efforts made this a tremendous success.
This is actually the project of Dr. Linda Douville who plays on the lime green team. She has been working tirelessly to build a health care centre in Ongutoi, Uganda. While there, she saw the need for these shirts. She was going to collect the jerseys herself but, because of an illness in her family, she was unable to do it so our team took over. She will be so pleased to see the response!
