Founded in 1964, Aurora Football Club (Aurora FC) has been providing Recreational, Competitive and Elite soccer programs to families in Aurora for 60 years. Since our inception, Aurora FC has continued to grow and our projected registration numbers for the 2024 season is around 3,700. Between the players, their families, the 750 coaches and the referees that help to run our programs, we are by far the largest sports organization in Aurora with a direct impact on more than 10,000 people. And it doesn't stop there; Aurora is represented by our 5 Boys and 5 Girls teams playing in the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) as well as our Semi-Pro Men's and Women's Reserve teams playing at the highest provincial level in the Ontario Soccer League's elite League1 Reserves.
Our mission is to provide all youth in the community with the opportunity to play soccer regardless of their skill level. We are a development based youth program. Through this program, boys and girls of all ages will be taught to improve their soccer skills while learning the important values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. And we can't overlook the fun and memories they'll make along the way!
Aurora FC is a Not-For-Profit organization that is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our primary source of revenue is registration fees paid by families and donations received from individuals and businesses. Without the generous support of local businesses, Aurora FC would not be able to continue to make this rewarding experience an affordable reality for the youth of our community.
