2024 REFEREE COURSES

You can become a Small-Sided or Entry Level referee
based on your age.

Small-Sided (Mini) Referee (Course cost $110)
You will referee U9 and U10 games
You must be at least 12 years of age by March 31, 2024

Entry Level Referee (Course cost $135)
You can referee U9 and older games
You must be at least 14 years of age by March 31, 2024

You must register and complete either the Small Sided Referee course or the Entry Level Referee course hosted by Ontario Soccer before you will be allowed to referee at Aurora FC.

CLASSES WILL BE ONLINE
WITH A PRACTICAL IN-PERSON SESSION

2024 REFEREE REGISTRATION
Ontario Soccer Registration for Returning (Certified) Referees

- all returning referees not taking a referee course
must register with Ontario Soccer to continue refereing this year
- applies to both Certified Entry Level and Certified Small Sided Referees

- Respect in Sport certification (within the last 5 years) is a requirement for referee registration

It is highly recommended that all Match Officials / Referees review the Laws of the Game.
The current, 2023-24 International Football Association Board (IFAB) Laws of the Game.
