U15 Girls All-Stars - King Classic Champions
The U15 Girls All Star team spent the past weekend in Schomberg attending the 7th Annual King Classic Soccer Tournament. Opening round victories over High Park and Kleinburg Nobleton, as well as a draw with the home side from King, netted the girls a berth in the semi-finals. A hard fought 2-0 victory in the semi-final rematch with King earned the girls a spot in the finals against the undefeated team from Timmins. Scoring the only goal in the final match, the girls emerged from the weekend with their first championship of the season! Congratulations girls and good luck in Owen Sound!
