Prior to joining the AYSC, Cimini served as Technical Director at the Woodbridge Soccer Club. He also spent time as a Regional Assistant Coach with the Ontario Soccer Association. As a player, Cimini attended Old Dominion University and Philadelphia University where he earned Atlantic Soccer Conference(ASC) 1^stteam All Conference awards in 2004 and 2005. At the youth level, Cimini also represented the U17 and U18 Canadian National team.
