The John Traganitis All Star Tournament will once again return for a weekend of fair competition for All Star teams. The John Traganitis tournament has been providing a fun environment for recreational soccer players since 1994. We are proud of the facilities, referees and organization of our tournament. With registration closing (and full) a month before the tournament start date, schedules were available online at least 10 days before the start of the tournament. All results are also available online throughout the weekend.
This tournament is designed to provide a fun and competitive tournament for All Star teams across Ontario. All Star teams consist of house league players who are chosen to be part of a team which then competes only in tournaments or exhibition games. We will also welcome straight house league teams who wish to enter our tournament. Select teams - teams formed by a selection process who play together in a league throughout the summer - are not eligible for our tournament.
U11s will play 9 v 9, but U12s will play 11 a side in our tournament. No U8 divisions will be offered.
Please fill out and return the attached registration for or access our tournament through the OSA soccer.on.ca website. Registration fee is $350 and must be received before your team’s spot in our tournament is secure. REGISTER EARLY. We were unable to accommodate all requests for entry last year and many divisions were full well in advance of the August 15th deadline.
We look forward to hosting your All Star team. If you have specific requests for scheduling because of travel restrictions, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it outlining your request. Not all requests can be accommodated, but we do our best to make the schedules work for you.
When registration numbers allow we always try and provide single year age grouping. We know this is especially important in the U 11 – 14 age groups. Age groups with 6 or more teams will not only have Champions and Finalists, but we will run a bronze medal game (for divisions of 6) and Consolation Championships for divisions with 8 or more teams.
