Fritzy's Frozen Yogurt and Tasty Treats Grand Opening

Fritzy's Frozen Yogurt and Tasty Treats is a new enterprise in Aurora that is holding their grand opening on Saturday February 4, between 2-4 pm. They will have a DJ on site for live entertainment, and will be offering free frozen yogurt and complimentary treat sampling. In addition there will be raffles to win gift cards and loadable gift cards in any denomination will be available at a 20% discount.

Fritzy's slogan is "Choose your sweet adventure". They offer over 150 frozen yogurt flavours with over 60 dry toppings (sprinklers, nerds, Mike and Ikes etc) as well as a myriad of cold toppings (fruits, sauces etc.). All "adventures" are charged for by weight. They also offer candy by weight. They also offer great treats in the form of a variety of caramel apples with various toppings available. They can be ordered for special events.

Fritzy's is located in the Bayview Wellington plaza (Longo's) and have seating for 40 people. Fritzy's will host private parties for birthdays, celebrations, sports teams, etc and also offer fundraising activity for minor sports.

This is the second location that owners David Fritz his father and his brother has opened, the other location is in Toronto. David states that they chose Aurora because "it is a great community and place for families to grow, that is active in sports. For us it is all about community, we are a community based business and would like to be involved in different groups".

David said the plan is to eventually open locations in other towns throughout the province and eventually throughout Canada. They are seeking partners and franchisees.
