2011 REFEREE MEETINGS

 

Mandatory New Referee Meeting (no cost)
April 9th from 10:00 am – 11:00 am
at the Aurora Library, 15145 Yonge St.

Mandatory Returning Referee Meeting (no cost)
May 14th from 11:30 am -1:30 pm
at the Aurora Community Centre,
1 Community Centre Lane (at Aurora Heights Dr.)

2011 REFEREE APPLICATION

The Aurora Youth Soccer Club is now accepting applications for 2011 OUTDOOR season.
Applications are available at the office or in electronic form.
Open to Adults & Teenagers.

2011 REFEREE COURSES

Mini Referee Clinic

(Participants must be 12 & 13 years old)

Date: Sat., May 7, 2011                      Time: 8:00 am-4:00 pm                      Cost $ 30
Location: Aurora Public Library, 15145 Yonge St.     

The intent of this clinic is to introduce officiating to participants who are 12 & 13 years old. If you are 14 years of age by March 31st, 2011, you will be too old to take the mini soccer referee clinic. If you took the mini clinic in 2010 as a 12 year old, you will have to take the mini clinic again in 2011. By retaking the course, a referee is automatically registered for the 2011 season with the OSA and gets an opportunity to refresh their refereeing skills.

The focus of this clinic is to be interactive, introductory and have the young referees understand the basic concepts of refereeing. They then need to apply this knowledge to officiating recreational mini soccer players in the ages of U8-U10. Clinic size is limited to 25 students.

Date: Sat. & Sun., April 30 & May 1, 2011            Time: 8:00 am-4:00 pm          Cost $ 60
Location: Aurora Sports Dome, 115 Industrial Pkwy N., Aurora

*Pre clinic work is required and will be provided prior to the selected clinic. You will be notified when workbooks are available for pick up.
