Aurora FC is pleased to announce our partnership with Athletic Rehabilitation and Conditioning (ARC) for all of our Ontario Player Development League(OPDL) Sport Performance needs. Carlo D'Emilio and Milad Mohib, co-directors at ARC, provide our OPDL players a variety of services including soccer-specific fitness, sports medicine, injury prevention, rehabilitation, nutrition and wellness.

The ARC team offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary soccer-friendly approach to our players, having been involved in the game for several years. The duo utilizes the FIFA 11+ program, a complete warm-up program to reduce injuries among male and female soccer players.

Atheletic Rehabilitation and Conditioning Staff

miladMilad Mohib

Dr. Milad Mohib graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. (Hons.) in Kinesiology in 2010 and obtained a Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2014. He is currently enrolled at the University of Guelph as a candidate for a Master's of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences with a Neuroscience minor. In conjunction with this Master's program, he will be applying to the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences External Residency Program later this year.

Milad has conducted a four-year prospective research study documenting the injury rates amongst Ontario provincial and national youth soccer players. This study has been published in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association winter edition 2014. He is currently working on his Master's Thesis focusing on the effects of central sensitization on joint dysfunction.

While enrolled as a chiropractic student, he was employed at Sports Centers Injury Rehabilitation Inc., which is a multidisciplinary clinic responsible for providing medical coverage to the Ontario Soccer Association Provincial and National Training Programs. His clinical duties included designing and overseeing patients' rehabilitation programs with a wide spectrum of conditions. In addition to his clinical duties, he provided sideline medical coverage for regional, provincial, and national level soccer teams. Currently, he is the clinic co-director at Athletic Rehabilitation & Conditioning (ARC) located in Aurora, Ontario.

On a personal level, Milad is involved with many sports clubs in his community in various ways. He is currently a strength and conditioning coach for North Toronto Soccer Club and the Women's National Regional Exceleration program. He continues to be involved with providing medical coverage in the athletic community with teams in the Canadian Soccer League, the F.C. Barcelona Escola camps and Rugby Ontario. He has played soccer on the Aurora Hearts Soccer Club Men's team for the past six years.


carlo dDr. Carlo D'Emilio, BHK (Hon), DC

Dr. Carlo D'Emilio graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics before obtaining his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He is a certified first responder through the Canadian Red Cross and is working towards obtaining his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) title. He plans to return to further his education by entering into the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences External Residency Program within the next few years.

Carlo is the clinic co-director at Athletic Rehabilitation & Conditioning (ARC) in Aurora, in addition to operating a chiropractic and rehabilitation clinic in mid-town Toronto. While working towards his doctorate, Carlo was employed by Sports Centres Injury Rehabilitation Inc., where he worked as member of the medical team overseeing the Ontario Provincial and National Training Program teams providing on-field coverage and clinical rehabilitation to athletes. Additionally, Carlo has been the on-field therapist for various events including the 2012 and 2013 Indoor and Outdoor Ontario Cup Finals, 2013 Ontario Summer Games, and the 2014 OUA All-Star Game.

Personally, Carlo was born and raised in Woodstock, Ontario, playing AAA hockey and OYSL soccer. While attending University in Windsor, he was a member of the varsity soccer team, which was nationally ranked during his final season. Currently, he is a member of the Aurora Hearts Soccer Club playing for their Men's top tier soccer team.
