Aurora Football ClubAurora FC is a Canadian National Youth Licence, OPDL & League1 Ontario Licence holder. Our club will operate with a total of 2 teams in the League1 Reserve Division. League1 has allowed our club to provide a platform for our players & coaches to continue to develop & challenge themselves respectively. Aurora FC is 1 of 4 York Region clubs that is able to provide players a complete player pathway through our house league, grassroots/ competitive programs, OPDL, League1 Reserve & League1 Ontario teams.
I don't get it, what is all this League1 Reserve talk?
League1Reserve is part of the Canada Soccer Pathway. The league is focused on players 16 years & older, it is the highest level of play in Ontario. Players are in an environment where they're exposed to the top players, coaches & match officials in this province. It also serves as a platform for players to be identified for Collegiate, University, National & Professional Youth Academy programs. By playing at the League1 Reserve level, the environment will better prepare the player for post-secondary & professional opportunities

Player Success - It is not about wins, losses and ties, more importantly. Aurora players have been noticed and called into National Youth Team Camps, Professional Youth Academies, Provincial Squads and a number of our OPDL players have attended the Provincial Screening. In 2018 we introduced our Adult High-Performance Program (U21/ L1) which consisted of 25+ OPDL players and 13 OYSL players all whom have played with Aurora for many years.
