| Scott Guy has played the game at semi-professional level in Scotland for over 15 years and has now been involved coaching professionally for 12 years. He has worked with the Scottish Football Association, the National Governing Body for football in Scotland as Football Development Officer and has a vast amount of experience in the management and delivery of wide ranging football programmes at grassroots level. Scott is a qualified Coach Education tutor for the Association and has experience delivering coaching courses on the Scottish FA's Children and Youth education pathways. He has coached with Morton FC and Glasgow Rangers FC and more recently as a Head Coach in the Scottish Football Associations exciting new football Academy and Coach Development Programme. Over the last few years he has had the opportunity to work with some of the top children's and youth coaches in the game and been to study several other clubs and countries such as Greece, Denmark, and England which has proved invaluable to his own personal development in coaching. He has a Bachelor Of Arts Degree in Sports Development from the West of Scotland University. His other qualifications include the UEFA Children's Licence, UEFA Youth Level 4 Award, Physical Preparation Children & Youth Award, and SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness) Trainer Award. Scott also has experience coaching in various other sports; He is a qualified gym instructor and has coaching qualifications in flag football, Badminton, volleyball, rugby, and basketball. Scott comes highly recommended to the AYSC, due to his knowledge of the game and his excellent people skills. |

| David Thorburn's career in pro soccer has been over thirty years, with experience as a player, coach, manager and chief scout, in both adult and youth soccer. He has also worked for one of Europe's largest soccer agencies, Base Soccer.
He has played, coached, managed and scouted in both England and Scotland. The list of clubs he has been involved in include Ayr United, Leyton Orient, Greenock Morton, Raith Rovers, Aberdeen, Glasgow Rangers, and the Scottish and English FA. His involvement and experience with working with some of the best coaches and managers have been invaluable in his own personnel development over the years. David also has vast experience in the North American Soccer Leagues as he has been the Overseas Manager for the past four years with Glasgow Rangers, where he has shared his experiences through coach education clinics with several clubs including Toronto's Oakville Soccer Club. He is also responsible for bringing over two youth players from Toronto and one from Vancouver for two week trials with top British clubs, including Rangers Hibernian Southampton and QPR. David has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in Sports Development specializing in Talent ID and LTAD from West of Scotland University. His other qualifications include UEFA (A) Int and UEFA (B) License; Youth Management; Youth Development 1,2,3; Working with Children 1, 2, 3; Physical Preparation: Goalkeeping 1,2; Working with Disabilities: EFA Levels 1, 2,3; Working with Children. David has over ten years experience working with the under privileged and many of the current social issues, through his involvement with several local communities over the years. |
