Soccer is one of the most demanding of all sports.
In the modern game at every level soccer training and conditioning is essential.
Few sports are played on as large a playing field, lasting as long and without regular rest periods.
The use of modern day technology has given us the tools to measure and breakdown the games demands and requirements.
Players can cover 8-12km during a match, consisting of 24% walking, 36% jogging, 20% coursing, 11% sprinting, 7% moving backwards and 2% moving whilst in possession of the ball.
Therefore to achieve these demands, and increase each players fitness level, it is critical that players must be exposed to an age specific pre season training program, which will mirror this type of training.
This 1 week intensive course will cover all aspects of the above areas, with a view to individual player conditioning and team development; this will be achieved by using the most up-to-date and age appropriate methods of conditioning, as listed below. How the team start the season is crucial. To be the best, you must prepare like the best.
